Enjoy a blast from the past at a planet stuck in history… pay a visit to the living museum of the North! Several decades of history all come alive in different parts of Beamish, so there's a wealth of things to explore and get stuck into

Planet Great North Museum
Learn more about the Northern galaxy at the Great North Museum, including the opportunity for a sight into the solar system at the planetarium! While entry to the museum is free, there is also the option on the day to visit the planetarium for a cost of £2.95 for a 15 minute show or £3.75 for an extended show. If you'd like to add this to your day, this is available to pay yourself on the day at the desk so you can choose a slot that works for you!
